A message from the RSCI Emergency Society:
“Dear friends and fellow students,
We are deeply saddened by the news of the recent death of our dear friend and inspiration, Conor Keogh. He was a strong and determined man, a wonderful friend, and an enthusiastic and charismatic student. He had a passion for learning and teaching. He was the founder of Trauma Day and one of the driving forces behind the scenes at RCSI’s Emergency Society. EMSSI will graciously honour him at their Inaugural Meeting on October 5th and we will be dedicating Trauma Day this year in his memory. Should you wish to make any gesture as a matter of condolence, we would appreciate any donations to Pieta House in Conor’s name:https://www.gofundme.com/pietahouse-Conor. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
Trauma comes in many different forms. We are a society that prides ourselves on community support and the impact of having someone taken from us too soon is not to be underestimated. If you are grieving, struggling or simply want to talk, please please reach out. We are here for each other and here to help.
With Conor in our thoughts,
RCSI Emergency Society”
